Shannon Long

Shannon joined The Barking Project in 2024 and currently serves as a Marketing Co‑Chair. In this role, she contributes to the design and management of the TBP website, social media content, campaign and event collateral, and the organization of the raffle drawing. An avid animal lover, Shannon was previously involved in the SPCA of Texas Young Professionals and grew up in a family who support the well‑being of all animals. Her lifelong dedication to animal welfare made joining a team of professional women who share her passion especially meaningful.

Shannon has an orange tabby cat named Tod and two energetic dogs, Blaze, a Blue Heeler, and Cowboy, an Australian Shepherd, whom she enjoys taking to dog agility classes. Outside of her volunteer work, she loves spending time outdoors, especially near the water and paddleboarding, and she’s an avid hockey fan.

Professionally, Shannon has built a career in commercial real estate with over four years of specialized experience. She currently serves as a Transaction Analyst with CBRE under their Global Workplace Solutions business, supporting a global client account with a focus on transaction management services. Prior to this role, she worked as a Senior Client Services Coordinator at Colliers, where she supported multiple brokers across diverse industries and service lines.
