Katrina Torrey

Katrina joined The Barking Project (TBP) in 2022 to be part of a dedicated group of women working to help save shelter dogs through adoption and foster care. She currently serves as Secretary on the board, supporting the organization’s mission and key initiatives. Professionally, Katrina is the Marketing & Events Coordinator at Gaedeke Group, where she has worked for 14 years. She also volunteers with United to Learn, which supports Dallas-based schools by providing resources to help DISD students thrive.

Originally from San Angelo, Texas, Katrina has called Dallas home since 1990. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, traveling, reading, outdoor activities, and cheering on her favorite Dallas sports teams. While she doesn’t currently have pets of her own, she grew up with animals of all kinds and has always loved them.
